Job Description
Prodrive Recruitment Ltd are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our clients warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse operation and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires a strong understanding of ERP and WMS Systems and departmental budgets. Applicants with NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications and/or CILT Membership would be preferred.
Duties
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock levels, order fulfilment, and returns.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to optimise operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and transport companies to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in business processes.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance, including profit loss analysis and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within logistics or supply chain environments.
- Strong knowledge of
- Familiarity with forklift operation and safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to assess business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Ability to lead a team, providing guidance and support to achieve operational goals.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications.
